Zodwa Wabantu is calling out her fashion critics for their double standards when it comes to women’s dressing

The pantyless dancer caused a stir recently when she showed up at the Vodacom Durban July in a revealing fishnet look that left nothing to the imagination.

“Zodwa Wabantu is eroding the dignity of a woman. Sies!” one Twitter user wrote about the star’s racy outfit.

Zodwa took to Instagram on Thursday to respond to the backlash about her look

She shared pictures of Serena Williams and Rihanna in revealing outfits, questioning why they are praised for their raunchy looks while she is ridiculed.

“We respect her. Not this Zodwa Wabantu,” she captioned a picture of Serena’s recent Harper’s Bazaar cover, in which the tennis ace’s sexy gold dress reveals part of her derrière.

Zodwa also had an interesting picture of Rihanna wearing a see-through dress that revealed her bra.

“She is Beautiful. Not this Demon Zodwa Wabantu,” she wrote.

While many people have a problem with the way she dresses, Zodwa says she is proud of being a “demon” dresser

“Glittering Demon Zodwa Wabantu. At least I look at my Father Satan in the Eyes,” she captioned a picture of her controversial Durban July look.

Zodwa fans couldn’t agree more with her comments about treating international stars who dress like her differently.

“Really not fair when @zodwalibram dresses up like this ku wrong but when Rihanna does it its proper,” one commented.

Another added: “@zodwalibram people will talk because that’s what they are used to. They don’t want to work, but if they see someone working, they get jealous. Babe do your job, carry on putting food on the table for your son, and let the hatters who can’t even buy bread for themselves talk… If it benefits you then do it mommy.”
