It’s not just humans that want to ‘get away from it all’… A black bear enjoying a sunrise view was recently photographed by an employee of the Omni Mount Washington Resort…

The 4-star resort is situated within the region of Crawford Notch State Park and Mount Washington State Park, which is likely where the bear originated from. The bear was not, however, invited in to enjoy a complimentary breakfast or spa treatment.

An employee who spotted the bear decided it would be best for guests and animals alike if the bear was sent packing after enjoying the sunrise from the resort’s balcony. The bear has yet to review its experience on TripAdvisor.

According to employee Sam Geesaman, who took the endearing photos, the bear had likely climbed the stairs in search of a trash can buffet. The bear swiftly moved on after Geesaman clapped and stomped loudly.
