The Red Bull Soapbox Race took place at London’s Alexandra Palace on July 7 2019, returning to the city for the first time since 2017…
The Red Bull Soapbox Race was first held in 2000, but has grown in popularity since then, being held in several countries across the globe including South Africa. According to the ‘rules’, the home-made vehicles must be able to steer and break.
The teams are judged on their time to the finish line as well as their creativity and performance! Prizes range from travel vouchers to financial incentives, but differ every year.
Watch the wacky wheels and crazy team members hurtle to the finish line in this year’s London Red Bull Soapbox Race.
