Meghan & Harry’s son Archie is expected to be christened on Saturday, 6 July at a chapel in Windsor Castle
But don’t expect any fanfare or royal pomp – the special occasion is strictly private and media and well-wishers will be prohibited.
According to People magazine, the gathering will be attended by around 25 close family members and friends, with photos to be released the next day.
The Queen is expected to skip the ceremony to attend other royal engagements.
As per royal tradition, Archie will wear the christening gown worn by a multitude of the Queen’s great-grandchildren, including his cousins Princes George and Louis and Princess Charlotte.
Let’s hope we catch at least a decent pic of the young royal!
If not, we will have to wait for his official world debut during his first tour abroad – to South Africa later this year!
