The classic ingredient in many Thai dishes is the delectable peanut sauce. Of course, you can find pre-made peanut sauces in most shops these days, but you can also make your own…

What to do if you missed it out the shopping cart, however? Or if you just want a quick Thai-inspired snack?

Grab yourself a pack of two-minute noodles and your peanut butter. Instead of adding the flavour packet, drop a tablespoon of peanut butter into the boiling water.

Round off with your choice of Thai-inspired spices. Coriander, green chilli, lemongrass, star anise and a tiny pinch of cloves all work.

Allow the noodles to cook through, and you have a delicious, quick Thai-inspired dish. Top off with some healthy steamed veggies to take your two-minute noodles from drab to fab.
