Her hair is so long that she avoids leaving it loose in case she steps on it!

24-year-old Noemi Elizabeth Romero Huaman is known as the ‘Peruvian Rapunzel’ and she’s aiming to break the world record for the longest hair.

So far so good… her hair is currently measured at 1,78 metres, which is 26 centimetres longer than the previous record. According to Noemi, long hair has been a source of pride in her family. Her grandmother had exceptionally long hair, and Noemi is carrying on the tradition.

She says it takes around an hour for her to wash, dry, and braid her locks.
