Dineo Ranaka sent the rumour mill into overdrive when she shared pictures of herself in traditional regalia associated with sangoma training

Even though Dineo didn’t confirm if this is the case and shared a cryptic caption, her Instagram followers were quick to point out that the outfit signified something to do with ancestral rituals.

The radio personality simply captioned the snaps of her in the white, red and black clothes with the word “rooted”.

Some followers even went on to congratulate her for “embracing” her ancestors.

Dineo’s sister and popular actress, Manaka Ranaka, simply shared the word ‘lesedi’ which means light in the comments section.

During a previous interview with TshisaLIVE, Dineo revealed that she was on a spiritual journey to find “purpose and alignment”

“I have spent the past year praying, fasting, asking God to reveal to me my purpose, asking him to use me and plant me where he knows my purpose will bloom.

“I have a passion for people and their wellbeing. I want to see people overcoming. I want to see people living restfully in spirit and in soundness of mind. I want to see people being more cognisant of their contribution to the outcomes of their lives – because when you can hold yourself accountable, no one can turn you against yourself,” she told the publication at the time.
