MacGyver had one, John Travolta had one, and most ’70s pop stars wouldn’t be seen dead without one…
We’re talking about the mullet. The business-in-the-front, party-in-the-back hairstyle that never looked good on anyone, yet still managed to become an icon of fashion and anti-establishment.
And to celebrate the hairstyle everyone loves to hate, hundreds of nostalgic Belgians gathered in the little western town of Boussu to celebrate what organisers believe to be Europe’s first mullet festival. (It also may be the last!)
