Electronic wobble-machines?

“Strap on this new Fat Wobbler 5002 XQ from The Ultimate Ab and Muscle Factory and you’ll be trim and lean in no time. And you’ll do it all while you are sitting on your couch! Now that’s what I call a great fat loss plan!”

Okay, first, an admission: I made up the term ‘wobble-machines’ because I didn’t know what else to call these things. What we’re talking about is the electric ‘belts’ that you strap on, switch on, and then wait while the machine ‘wobbles your fat away’ through its vibrations.

Obviously the claim is not that it wobbles your fat off

The makers of these things make all sorts of other claims about how they work. But whatever the claim, it MUST be bogus, right? You lose fat by using it as energy. And wobbling your skin isn’t going to make you use energy any more than scratching your dog will make you use energy.

I get that they claim that these machines stimulate muscles, but the reality is that stimulating muscles is only one part of a much more complex chain reaction that leads to fat being burned off.

The other problem with ‘fat loss’ methods such as this one is that they remove the work element from the equation. And while you may think that that’s a good thing, I’m here to tell you that, even if they worked, these machines are short-changing you by taking the requirement of effort out the process.

We humans NEED to make an effort to achieve anything that’s actually worth achieving.

Why? So that don’t end up falling back into old habits and end up right back where we started!

Make an effort to LOSE your weight legitimately through hard work and good diet, and don’t believe everything you see on TV.
