TLC has released the preview for its new spinoff show, 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, and local reality show fans will be thrilled to know South Africa features in one of the storylines!

The show will follow six Americans as they uproot their entire lives to travel across the ocean to be with the love of their life.

One of those people is 27-year-old Tiffany from Maryland. She will be moving to SA to be with her partner Ronald – a recovering gambling addict.

The couple met while Tiffany was visiting Mzansi with a friend. According to People magazine, they fell in love and Ronald “quickly proposed”, but she is not 100% sure if he has told her everything about his dark past.

Tiffany will be heading to South Africa with her eight-year-old son Daniel!

Add a major culture shock to the mix and viewers can expect non-stop drama.

Will Tiffany decide to stay permanently in SA or will she head back home to America without Ronald and with a broken heart instead?

We can’t wait to find out!

It won’t the first time a South African has featured in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise

Capetonian Amy travelled to America in 2014 to be with her fiancé Daniel Frishmuth.

The pair, who met in Australia while on a Bible study trip, eventually married and now have two children together, Anna Elise and Jedidiah.

Amy and Danny, who featured in season two of the hit show, remain one of the show’s best-loved couples.

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way premieres in June.
