The word Supermodel was coined to describe the cream of the modelling crop. The icons of the runway and the masters of the catwalk.

The 90s were definitely the decade of the supermodel with the most iconic models of our time becoming households names like models had ever done before.

Over two decades later, here are five icons who are still every bit as glamorous as there were more than 20 years ago.

German- American supermodel Claudia Schiffer’s blonde hair and wide blue eyes won her instant fame in the late 80s.
She became the face of Chanel and over 500 magazine covers later she continues to work and with the biggest names in fashion.





Kate Moss (46)

Kate Moss worked hard and partied even harder. She was the quintessential 90s bad girl and brought the ills of the modelling openly struggling with addiction and the unhealthy lifestyle that comes with the being an IT girl including living by the mantra; “nothing tastes as good as skinny feels”.

Years later, Kate Moss is an actress, model, mother and beacon of hope for women struggling with addiction.
