Taking adequate physical activity

Maintaining your exercise regime, not just during the warmer months but throughout the year, can help to keep your body fit, flexible and energised. Remember that exercise offers many health benefits to the body and mind, so you definitely do not want to give up this good part of your lifestyle.

It may be necessary for you to adjust your workout though. For example, if you tend to exercise outdoors on a daily basis, the weather may sometimes pose a feasibility problem for you. If it is a rainy or very cold outdoors, consider taking your workout indoors or perhaps go to the gym on these days. Alternatively, if you are brave enough to face the weather – dress appropriately and keep up with your usual workout. You may actually enjoy working out under varying weather conditions.
