Silverstroomstrand is a blue-flag beach on the West Coast, just north of Melkbosstrand.
This pristine stretch of coastline has a small rocky point called Wintersteen which offers protection from the sea swell, making it safe for swimming.
There is also a tidal pool for the kids to enjoy and a designated area where friends and families can enjoy braais and picnics.
