Did Lee Thompson find love on The Bachelor SA? According to several social media users, he did, and the winner has revealed all

The first season of the South African version of the hit American reality show kicked off last month, with early favourites Gina Myers and Michelle Reddy stealing viewers hearts.

But with weeks to go until Lee reveals which one of the 24 ladies he picked, there are fears the winner could be revealed before the final rose.

Whispers have started about THAT lucky lady who won Lee’s heart on the show has been talking a little too much.

“There’s a rumour going round that the winner of #TheBachelorSA is telling people that she was picked…I am sure that she’s broken some sort of contract but I need to tell you all NOT TO TELL ME WHO IT IS! I am really enjoying the show & don’t want to spoil it, okay!” Good Things Guy founder, Brent Lindeque, tweeted.

Brent added in another tweet that “apparently she’s telling everyone”.

Viewers are currently watching pre-recorded episodes, which means Lee has already made his decision

While the American version often ends with a proposal, there have been incidents when the bachelor picks no-one

But if the rumours are to be believed, Lee did indeed connect with one of the women.

Brent is not the only person who has apparently learned who the winner is before the final episode.

Fashion blogger Aisha Baker says she has also heard whispers.

“I’ve also heard about the winner. I’m hoping it’s just a rumour,” she tweeted.

Comedian Simmi Areff replied “it’s not” a rumour.

Twitter user Jason Azzie also seems to have the inside scoop on the winner.

“Heard this too… if true, must be a breach of contract.

As if the winner’s name doing the rounds in social circles isn’t enough, rumours are also floating around that Lee has already called off the engagement

“The rumor that the winner cheated on Lee and he broke up the engagement?” 4Elements Media founder and travel blogger Lorinda Voges replied to Aisha’s tweet.

Whoever the winner is, those in the know are keeping their lips sealed to prevent ruining it for the show’s loyal viewers.

It looks like we might need a bigger box of popcorn to watch all the drama unfold!

The Bachelor SA airs every Thursday on M-Net (DStv’s channel 101).
