Zizo Tshwete is looking healthier and happier than ever but there are some people, most notably online, who are convinced that there is trouble in paradise when it comes to her marriage
In this era where fake news and real news are becoming more and more difficult to differentiate, any rumours (especially in the entertainment industry) need to be taken with a pinch of salt. As well as that, we need to constantly assess just how credible the sources of these rumours are before we determine whether or not we believe them.
So when we read that Zizo and Mayihlome Tshwete, who have been married since 2015, are experiencing troubles at home, we were cautious before believing the news.
The claim was made by gossip driven Twitter account, @Moosa_Kaula, who has not been shy to talk about the topic in the past few weeks. He tweeted on Tuesday:
Zizo Tshwete looks so good irregardless of her being in that dysfunctional marriage of hers to Mayihlome allegedly, pic.twitter.com/xpsYntLzyL

If you follow his timeline, Moosa has been speaking regularly about the Tswhete marriage and its reported troubles – especially in the month of January. A month ago he alleged that Mayihlome had moved out of the Tshwete’s marital home:
Update: This isn’t the first time it has been reported that Mayihlome and Zizo Tshwete are having marital problems.
It has been alleged that Mayihlome has moved out of their marital home and Zizo spent Christmas all by herself. https://t.co/cG8XbXmpB8

And a few weeks prior to that, Moosa noted that the politician had not been seen wearing his wedding band for a number of months:
I couldn’t help but notice that the last time Mayihlome Tshwete doesn’t wear his wedding band anymore. The last time he was spotted wearing his ring was in June 2018.
It’s not a big deal right? pic.twitter.com/De6Wucf6V4

MX Moosa, as he is also nicknamed, is famed for his Twitter threads which usually sum up celebrity gossip sagas with a combination of sharp-eyed social media detective work and insider information.
The only word of caution that one should exercise is that from time to time, in a bid to be as dramatic and exclusive as possible, Moosa’s claims can be proven to be inaccurate.
This time around, however, the smoke does seem as if it may lead us to fire
Mayihlome and Zizo’s marital woes have also been reported in a number of local publications including the Sunday Sun and ZAlebs.com.
