Making changes to your eating habits

If you do not know where to start on your weight-loss journey, it is always best to meet with a professional. Consult a dietician if you require assistance in making changes to your eating habits and putting a meal plan together.

It should meet your energy requirements whilst still controlling your calorie intake.

Pick up the pace!

When it comes to exercising, you can begin by gradually increasing the amount of physical activity in which you are engaging. For example, if you have been leading a fairly sedentary life thus far, make some time to take small walks. You can pick up the pace and intensity of your walks once you have adjusted and are feeling more comfortable to take it further. Stop if you experience any discomfort or pain and remember that the more fit you are, the more comfortable you will feel when exercising.

Seek the advice of a physical trainer

If you prefer to exercise at a gym and do not know where to start or how to put a suitable workout routine together for yourself, seek the assistance of a physical trainer. There may be many available at your local gym.
