In case you have been living under a rock for the past few months, the Duchess of Sussex is expecting her first child with the dapper Prince Harry
Meghan, who is believed to be around six months pregnant, has been showing off her blossoming belly at royal charity appearances over the past few weeks.
Given that her baby bump has officially ‘popped’, Meghan’s pregnant belly is as clear as daylight.
But a new video published by Mail Online shows the Duchess supposedly using her body language to draw attention to her baby bump
From unbuttoning her coat, to flicking it away to reveal a form-fitting outfit underneath, it seems that the mama-to-be is keen for her bump – aka the royal baby – to always stay in view. Particularly when the cameras are flashing.
Mail Online goes as far as to claim that Meghan is ‘working the camera’ with ‘clever tricks’.

Attention seeker or proud mama?
Scientifically, it’s been proven that a mother’s physical touch to their belly is beneficial for both mom and their unborn baby.
But Meghan has largely faced criticism for always cradling her bump – from the moment that the royal baby news was announced back in October, Meghan has been spotted cradling her barely-visible bump.
She was also accused of upstaging Princess Eugenie on her wedding day when she fuelled pregnancy rumours by wearing a long coat and loose dress (Meghan announced her pregnancy barely 72 hours after Eugenie said ‘I do’).
She was also accused of stealing the spotlight at the British Fashion Awards when she presented her wedding dressing designer Clare Waight Keller an award, all the while working the stage in a tight-fitting little black dress.
There are also conspiracy theorists who believe that Meghan’s bump is fake!
I have a theory that Meghan Markle actually isn’t pregnant and they have a surrogate and no one at work wants to talk about it with me. This is my Wednesday.

Hon. You’re not helping your case with those images, Meghan. Lol. We all know it’s fake. First your due date fluctuates by MONTHS, then your “baby bump” moves directions, sizes & shapes in DAYS, and then it disappears altogether. We’re not idiots and we’re on to you. pic.twitter.com/pG8h2sNkVG

All eyes on me?
Many have asked the question – Is Meghan using her baby bump to remain relevant?
The newest member of the royal family is always a hot topic when it comes to tabloids. Her first few months of marriage and subsequent pregnancy has been shrouded in controversy – from her alleged feud with sister-in-law Duchess Kate, to rumours of her being ‘difficult’ (both her personal bodyguard and PAs allegedly quit as a result of this) to her distancing herself from her family and old life.

There’s no denying that royal baby fever is in full gear
Heck, betting agencies are going into overdrive over sex and baby names (Diana for a baby girl?). First baby gifts have been given and let’s not forget the plea of the poor estranged Markles who are desperate for a relationship with the new prince/princess.
Prince Harry & Duchess Meghan…if you’re blessed w/a girl, please name the baby after your beautiful mothers…Diana Doria (optional Elizabeth)…we’ll call her “DD!” So happy for you! 😘🤗

With that being said, Is Meghan really as manipulative as they say?
Or is the duchess simply an excited first-time mom?
