President Jacob Zuma’s fiancée Conco Nonkanyiso says that a Twitter account sending tweets in her name is fake
The 24-year-old made headlines this week after the account became a talking point on social media.
The Twitter handle, @MrsConcoZuma, has shared several eyebrow raising tweets.
One post showed a picture of Zuma on a soccer field.
“My hubby is fit and fresh. I love you bae,” the woman wrote.

Another tweet saw the woman declaring that 2019 would be a “game changer” for the couple now that they were both on Twitter.
“Good morning South Africa on behalf of Zuma family we wish you a prosperous 2019, this year it’s a game changer for us as me and hubby we are on this platform.”
The posts were ridiculed by some South Africans.
Despite the account’s bio claiming the owner is President Jacob Zuma’s youngest wife, the real Nonkanyiso took to Instagram to reveal that she does not have Twitter
She shared a screenshot of one of the Twitter posts with the word “fake” written across it.
A spokesperson for the Zuma family told News24 that the profile appeared to be a parody account.
Zuma joined Twitter in December, and the “fake” Twitter account has been retweeting some of his posts.
The fake Nonkanyiso Twitter account continues to send out tweets.
The real Nonkanyiso did appear to have a Twitter account at one point, which she reportedly changed to Nonkanyiso Conco Zuma shortly after news of their relationship broke in April 2018.
The new account was created on January 7.
