The royal wedding(s)

Meghan and Harry’s royal wedding went on as planned on May 19 without a hitch despite some of her estranged family members flying to the UK to stir up some trouble.

Prince Charles stepped in to walk Meghan down the aisle. The 37-year-old’s mother Doria Ragland was the only person from her family who scored an invite. Meghan’s celebrity pals Priyanka Chopra, Serena Williams and the Suits cast also made the guest list. So did Oprah Winfrey, George Clooney and his wife Amal. Millions tuned in to watch Meghan become the newest member of the royal family. The queen gave the couple their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles the morning of their big day.

Harry and Meghan were not the only royals to tie the knot in 2018. Princess Eugenie married her long-term boyfriend Jack Brooksbank in October.
