South Africans will be able to cheer on Tamaryn Green at Miss Universe thanks to 1Magic who has announced that it will be broadcasting the pageantry live
Miss Universe takes place on the 17th of December in Bangkok Thailand and all South African eyes will be on Tamaryn Green who will be competing against candidates from 94 countries this year.
Tamaryn will be looking to emulate the success of Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters who emerged as last year’s Miss Universe (wouldn’t that be historic?).
The pageant takes place in a country that is five hours ahead of South Africa meaning that South Africans will have to wake up at 2 AM in order to watch the ceremony live. Thankfully, 1Magic will be hosting a live broadcast of the global pageant and they have even encouraged fans to get their coffee ready for the early morning transmission.
The channel confirmed the news in a tweet that read: “This one is for the early risers. Make sure that the coffee is strong and your cheers are loud as we prepare to watch @TamarynGreen take the @MissUniverse stage on @1MagicTV channel 103!”
