If you’ve gained weight your thyroid hormone level may be too low, whereas the opposite could be true if you’re dropping weight for no reason.

Obviously, if you’re eating poorly or overdoing exercise, or you’re too stressed out for some reason then you shouldn’t be too quick to blame your thyroid for your weight change.
