Skolopad says she hopes that she will be able to pay her respects to the family of a man who was killed in a fatal car crash last month
The entertainer was involved in a head-on collision on September 22 that left Fred Tlali, the driver of the other vehicle, dead.
Fred’s family is demanding answers following his death.
“I buried my uncle because of Skolopad and she needs to give us answers… if it wasn’t for the accident my uncle would still be alive,” his nephew Nelson Ntlele told TshisaLIVE.
Skolopad says she is saddened by what happened
“It’s really sad. No one can ever prepare you for how to deal with something like this. It’s not easy and it’s so sad but I don’t even know what to say because really what can I say?,” she told the publication this week.
Skolopad added that her mother told her find out where the man stays so she can pay her respects.
“I’m not sure what would be the way to go or where to start… what would be insensitive and like I said, what would I say? It’s not like I woke up that day and said I want to go be in car accident.”
She told the Daily Sun in an interview that the accident occurred when the car she was driving hit a speed bump
The singer was driving to a local police station with two officers and her daughter at the time.
“I hit a speed bump and the cop in the back turned the steering wheel. I then collided into an oncoming car. How could she do that while the car was moving? My daughter sustained injuries to her left knee. That cop nearly killed us,” she told the publication.
The officers had allegedly instructed her to drive to the station after they witnessed her “beat” her daughter.
Skolopad, and all those injured in the crash, have all been discharged from hospital following the accident.
