A new job has opened up that will pay an avid skier $10,000 (over R150k!) to ski some of the world’s most prestigious slopes this winter and capture it all on video…
Ski.com has launched an open call for what they’re calling an Epic Dream Job that will send the winning candidate to more than a dozen world-class ski resorts in seven countries, including Whistler Blackcomb and Fernie in Canada; Vail, Park City and Breckenridge in the US; Verbier in Switzerland; Courchevel in France and Hakuba Valley in Japan.
For two months in January and February, the successful applicant will carve powder in brand name ski gear like Helly Hansen, Rossignol and Oakley, while capturing video content from a GoPro.
From the sounds of the job description, the ideal candidate is an outgoing, sociable, globetrotting Millennial influencer who can hold their own when it comes to snow sports: “…must be able to ski and/or snowboard and must love après, mingling with locals and documenting new experiences.”
To apply, job seekers have until Oct. 15, 2018 to submit a video application explaining in 60 seconds or less why they should be chosen.
The job posting is to promote the Epic Pass, an international pass that is valid at 65 ski resorts around the world.
