He was known among his colleagues in the entertainment industry and his fans as one of the trailblazers of the hip-hop genre, and every time Linda ‘ProKid’ Mkhize took to the stage, the result was pure magic

It was confirmed yesterday (August 9) that the Sekela and Ghetto Science hitmaker had passed on following a severe seizure.

A statement issued on behalf of the family said that ProKid had been visiting friends on the night of Wednesday, August 8, when the seizure struck. Paramedics were called to the scene, but they were unable to resuscitate him.

He was just 37.

Happy to be alive, mnandi Friday.
