The SA Cheese Festival will take place at the Bien Donné farm between Paarl and Franschhoek from 24 to 27 April 2009. 

The SA Cheese Festival has become synonymous with superb and daring culinary experiences and provides foodies from all over the world with a respite from the rush of life in the city.

Cheese lovers will once again enjoy old favourites, and can look forward to discovering adventurous new dairy and related products in the rustic setting of Bien Donné farm. Expect fabulous entertainment for the whole family, as well as a variety of cooking demonstrations, tastings and leisurely shopping in a market atmosphere.

Tickets must be bought beforehand at Computicket and Checkers stores, as there will be no ticket sales at the entrance.  Tickets for adults wishing to enter on Friday or Monday cost R85 per person, while visitors intending to enter on Saturday or Sunday will pay R110.  Children 12 years and younger don’t pay to enter, and senior citizens pay R65 for entry on any day of the festival.

Opening times for the festival are: Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00 and on Monday, 27 April from 10:00 to 17:00.
