Don’t over eat… EVER!

Food is amazing. It’s one of the finest things in life. It comforts you when you’ve had a long and miserable day, and it helps you celebrate when the day has gone great. Food is the best!


Yup, I thought so. But you know what? Food is also partly to blame for your current health and weight status. So if you have some weight to lose, then you may have been using the ‘powers’ of food a bit too often. You see, food should be a simple fuel supply for the body, but we have turned it into a reward. And we’re suffering for it.

The only people who manage to escape this effect are those who are (almost miraculously) able to stop eating before they are full. These are the lucky few who have managed to find their ‘full’ switch.

What YOU need to do is slightly different

You need a system to stop yourself from overeating so that your body can get back to the size it wants to be. Here are a couple of ideas:

  • Eat from a smaller plate, and don’t allow yourself a second helping
  • Drink a large glass of water before eating
  • Make sure your meals last at least 20 minutes
  • Eat your veggies first, then the rest – fill up on fibre
  • Never eat when you didn’t plan to

If you can do these things consistently then you’ll be on the right track. Start now.
