Stock up on: Dried dates

If you have a sweet tooth, then dieting is tough. You are going to feel the ‘need’ to have a sweet snack almost every evening, but you’ll know that it’s not allowed if you want to get skinnier and even sexier than you are now.

The last thing you’re thinking about is a date, right?

Dried dates are healthy, full of fibre, and sweet. They are also chewy, which makes them more difficult to eat than some other sweet fruits, so you’ll eat a bit less. Buy a bag of dried dates and keep them in the fridge. When you feel a sweet craving coming on, grab two or three dates and munch them. If those don’t take your sweet craving away then you’ve got serious sugar issues!

Remember that, as with ALL foods, too much is still not good for you. But dates are one of the safest sweet foods you can eat, because they are full of nutrients in addition to the sweetness. Plus they have the fibre thing going on.

Bottom line? Don’t eat the whole bag in one sitting and claim to be on diet. However, eaten in moderation these little guys can be your best friends.
