We eat, have leftovers and what do we do? We tend to store away the entire leftovers in one whole portion, donâ??t we?
Next time you have food left over after a meal, try packing them up into meal sized portions instead of one big portion.
Try buying containers that are the same size as the portion size of meals you consume. This will tell you that there is no more to eat or no extra spoonfuls or extra slices for you to nibble on.
It will also help prevent you from overeating calorie dense meals. You can make a salad on the side, for a more balanced meal. Or even make a vegetable smoothie for added nutrients and flavour.
