Are you struggling to get rid of that layer of fat thatâ??s just below your belly button?

Many women, whether itâ??s due to being overweight, obese or having gone through childbirth, are in the same battle to lose that bulge.  Are you one of them?

Well, the bad news is that fat around that area of your body is quite difficult to get rid of but the good news is that if you work those abdominal muscles out daily, you can make a big difference in reducing it. After all, no-one said itâ??s unattainable!

Try doing the following exercise, as suggested by

• Get down on the floor on your hands and knees, hands below shoulders and knees below the hips. 

• Look at the floor. 

• Exhale and tilt the pelvis forward and up, as if you’re trying to suck the lower abdominal layers back toward the spine. Hold the contraction for several seconds and then relax. 

• Repeat this exercise at least five times.

Note that this exercise is similar to the â??cat poseâ?? in yoga. The only difference is that you’re focusing on the lower abdominals rather than an overall back stretching exercise. For other exercises, consult a fitness instructor at your local gym.
