Celebrities make headlines for the silliest things just about every day. But some rumours go one step too far

If they aren’t being killed off in fake reports, they are being accused of avoiding “smelly fans”.

As ridiculous as some of the claims sound, many naïve Internet users are easily duped.

We’ve read some crazy reports in the tabloids, but these have to be some of the craziest.

Tabloid papers reported in 2016 that Kelly Khumalo was pregnant with Khaya Mthethwa’s child.

“I don’t understand why or how people can be so hurtful. I am not dating anyone, I am not pregnant. I am not your social media toy,” Kelly tweeted.

A furious Khaya also responded to the rumours. “Please stop tweeting rubbish about me! I’m not with Kelly, I’ve NEVER been with Kelly!!! Leave me out of this nonsense!” he wrote.

It’s not the first time Kelly, who has a son with rapper Jub Jub and a daughter with slain soccer star Senzo Meyiwa, was the victim of false reports. An online news site claimed she was pregnant with Arthur Mofokate’s child. The site claimed that Kelly was three weeks pregnant.

“This is a joke right?!” Kelly captioned a screenshot of the story on Instagram. It turns out the story was from a fake news site.
