Mutodi Neshehe’s 14-year marriage to his wife, Leslee, appears to be coming to an end. The actor has already packed his bags and moved out of their multi-million-rand home in Johannesburg
The writing has been on the wall for a number of months. In 2017, the former Muvhango actor spoke to Drum magazine and revealed that his marriage was on the rocks. At the time he said to the publication:
“I feel like I’m the only one fighting, but she’s giving up. It’s like this isn’t the person I married. We are supposed to be like Bonnie and Clyde, out there slaying together but it’s not happening.”
Fast forward to 2018 and it looks like they have finally thrown in the towel. Speaking to Daily Sun, Mutodi revealed that they’ve been living apart for over nine months and added that he’s actively trying to finalise their divorce.
“I moved out on 2 June. I’m trying to get my divorce finalised as soon as possible, but she’s running around, adding to the bill.”
The Grit actor revealed that his estranged wife and her friends have made a point of belittling him in public
“If I tell you everything she’s said and done, you’ll be blown away.
“I’ve just kept quiet and moved on because I think she’s trying to set me up. I need to stop playing nice and deal with this truthfully.”
In 2017, it was alleged that Leslee caught Mutodi cheating on her, and even shared some of the text messages with the media, reports which the actor denied
Similar reports also added that Leslee’s family want her back in America although there is no word on what would happen to their two daughters if she moved.
