Rapper Kwesta and his family were left shocked when they were alerted to a robbery at his home in Midrand, Johannesburg
Sunday Sun reports that thieves apparently made off with R22 000 during the break-in.
The rapper became the talk of the town on Saturday night after he closed off the SAFTAs with an explosive performance.
But the excitement of wowing fans was shortlived as he was alerted to the robbery shortly after.
Kwesta told the paper that he was shocked when security guards called him to notify him of the break-in.
The rapper is not the first celebrity to be targeted by criminals
Last year, Nasty C was held up at gun point in his home.
Thugs made off with laptops, tablets, cellphones and a pricey Rolex watch during that incident, but the rapper was grateful to have been left unharmed.
