DJ Tira could put an end to Zodwa Wabantu’s wild behaviour

The DJ met with the popular dancer today (Monday) after she came under fire for encouraging women to use their private parts to make money.

Zodwa made the comments while attending a pool party.

“Ladies, you have power and you must use it. Take it from me. I am using my punani to make R35 000. I don’t know how to dance. All I do is to shake my ass and get paid. So, my b*tches, use your punani and be yourself,” Daily Sun quoted her as saying in the video.

Scores of social media users slammed Zodwa’s remarks.

The Commission for Gender Equality’s Javu Baloyi also criticised her

“This is opening the door for women to be degraded,” he told the publication.

Zodwa has since apologised for her comments.

“I am sorry to those who were offended by my remarks. I have no problem with constructive criticism but I urge my critics to guide me on how to express myself.”

Zodwa also caused a stir two weeks ago when she took off her panties while dancing on stage

“Take off your panties,” she encouraged the audience.

Many social media users slammed her behaviour, calling it inappropriate.

“This wrong on so many levels,” one Twitter user said.

DJ Tira took to Twitter last week to reveal that he will be meeting with Zodwa

“On Monday I have a meeting with Zodwa Wabantu. Things need to change,” he posted.

The meeting was held live on Twitter at 11am, with DJ Tira’s official account posting updates.

“I see a lot of women taking off their clothes when they’re drunk, she influenced this,” one Twitter user told DJ Tira.

It’s unclear what change the DJ has planned for Zodwa.
