Let your dog help you to shed some kilograms
If you have a dog, you have no excuse to get out there and get those calories burning! Taking him for a walk or run daily is an excellent way for not just your dog to get in some exercise, but for you too!
Add some variation to your workout by going for your outdoor walk at different locations. For example, if you walked around your neighbourhood yesterday, take your dog for a walk at the park today and perhaps on the beach tomorrow. This can be a great way to keep yourself motivated and your exercise routine interesting too.
Consult your doctor
Always remember to consult with your doctor before starting any new exercise regime or making intense changes to your current one – especially if you suffer from any medical conditions and for some reason are required not to place your body or yourself under any form of stress or strain.
Get a physical trainer
If you do not know where to start or how to put a suitable workout routine together for yourself, seek the assistance of a physical trainer. There may be many available at your local gym.
