Make your New Year’s resolution a healthy one

Make your New Year’s resolution a healthy one and enjoy the benefits that it has to offer.

Suggestions of healthy resolutions

Here are some simple suggestions of healthy resolutions that you can consider making:

Exercise more often

If you have not been exercising as often as you should, then this may be the time to start! Take a short walk daily, enjoy the fresh air and meet new people along the way. Keeping to this simple habit will help you get fit, flexible and in good shape – a great start to any new year!

Cut down on salt, sugar, fats and oil

Cutting down on salt and sugar can have amazing benefits for your body, especially if you tend to liberally add these condiments to your meals and/ or beverages. Too much salt in your diet can affect your blood pressure level while too much sugar and fat or oil can lead to weight gain and obesity over time. Consider cutting down gradually by adding less each time you use these condiments.

Drink more water

Drinking an adequate amount of water is necessary to keep you refreshed and your body well hydrated. Consider buying yourself a new water bottle, fill it up and carry it around with you wherever you go. Take regular sips and top it up when it is empty. You will be super energised by the end of the day!
