Mshoza and her new husband Thuthukani Mvula seem unbothered by his first wife’s plans to have their marriage annulled
The couple made headlines last week when it was revealed that Thuthukani was still legally married to his first wife, Duduzile Mvula.
Mshoza and Thuthukani got married in a traditional ceremony last month.
The Sunday World reported that Duduzile was shocked to find out about the ceremony, and did not give him permission to take a second wife.
She now wants Mshoza’s marriage to her husband annulled, and has already instructed her lawyers to serve them with annulment papers, according to the publication.
Duduzile reportedly also plans to file for a divorce, and will be demanding half of Thuthukani’s “lucrative assets”.
But it seems Mshoza and her new hubby are not letting the drama over the legitimacy of their marriage ruin their newlywed glow
The kwaito star took to Instagram to share a picture of herself cosying up to Thuthukani on a sofa.
“When Jesus says Yes… nobody can say no #Mr&Mrs MrsMvula Mytwin (sic),” she captioned the snap.
The happy couple wore matching outfits in the image.
Thuthukani has vowed to fight his estranged wife in court. He told the Sunday World she left him five years ago, and refused to sign the divorce papers his lawyers sent her.
“I don’t love that woman anymore and I don’t care where she lives. Whether she lives on the streets or in a shack is none of my business. But I’m looking after her, even the BMW she drives was bought by me,” he told the publication.
