According to the South African Weather Service, some parts of the country can expect heavy rains, while others will be affected by high fire danger conditions…

Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected in the central and eastern parts of the Northern Cape, extreme western parts of the North West, western Free State, western interior of the Eastern Cape, and the Central Karoo of the Western Cape.

Heavy rain and localized flooding is expected along the coastal areas of the Eden District and eastern parts of the Overberg of the Western Cape on Tuesday into Wednesday.
