3 Simple ways to de-stress

If you are experiencing some form of stress, consider doing some of the following to help offer relief.

Call a friend

Chatting to a friend, loved one or someone that you trust can be a great way to help alleviate some of the stress and built up tension that you may be feeling. Getting another person’s opinion or view on a situation can help to shed some light on solving certain problems. Furthermore, it can help you to consolidate what you are feeling or thinking and possibly even offer a solution to your problem.

Exercise outdoors

Going outdoors for some fresh air may be a great distraction when you are feeling stressed. It can help you clear your mind and feel calm. Engage in some physical activity at the same time and get those endorphins released – these ‘feel-good’ hormones will help you to feel more relaxed.

Do something you like

Engage in an activity that you enjoy and makes you feel good about yourself and life. This can give you a positive boost in attitude and energy and the confidence to know that you will be ok.
