Foods high in calcium may help weight loss

According to the Global Healing Center, a study that was conducted at the University of Tennessee showed that people who consumed between 1 200 and 1 300 milligrams of calcium daily, lost almost twice as much weight compared to those participants who were getting an insufficient amount of calcium in their diet. It seems that calcium plays a vital role in helping to boost one’s metabolism.

So it may be well worth your effort to ensure that you are getting a sufficient intake of this valuable mineral.

In addition, you should always check with your doctor before making any drastic changes to your diet, especially if you are under medication or suffer from any medical condition that has an effect on your diet.
