Teddies are beary special and an important part of a child’s development. There is a strong emotional reason why children bond with soft toys in their lives – they are the bridge between the warm safety and comfort of a mother’s arms, and independence, and form an emotional security blanket which will be released as and when children are ready
Parents the world over identify plush, fluffy little bears as a child’s best friend – it accompanies them on supermarket trips and sits comfortably with a child in the pram. Mr teddy even sleeps beside most kids in bed, and joins others for bath time, seated comfortably and preferably somewhere dry in the bathroom.
Here’s why teddies are cool
- They’re cuddly
- They’re excellent confidants
- They smell good
- They never age
