TIP: Eat single-ingredient foods
If you’re trying to lose weight, one of the things that complicates the process is the consumption of refined and processed foods.
The reason for this is that your body was not designed to deal with all of the ingredients used to make the foods more ‘stable’ or keep them ‘fresh’ longer. Some of these ingredients may be toxic to your body, and toxins are dealt with very simply – they get stored in fat cells, which makes the fat cells bigger. This means you get FATTER.
The easiest way around this is to try to eat mostly foods with only one ingredient.
Apples, beans and carrots are one-ingredient foods. Vienna sausages, bread and packet soups are not. Basically you need to look for foods that don’t have an ingredients list on the packaging.
Fruits, vegetables, whole grains and beans, nuts and seeds, meat, eggs and some dairy, and other such foods that occur in nature. If it was made or processed in a factory it’s unlikely to be a single-ingredient food.
Using this tip alone – with a decent sense of portion control – should see your weight loss really get going, as your body begins to receive nourishment without added toxins. You should also start to feel really great too… BONUS!
