1 - Never skip conditioner, and add an additional nourishing mask with every third wash.

2 - Never start the drying or styling process without applying heat protection to your hair. You can choose from a variety of formulas to suit your preference.

3 - Before you start styling with tongs or straighteners, ensure that your hair is 100% dry. You can let it air dry if you have time, or blow-dry to make the abovementioned styling easier.

4 - Use heat styling tools on their higher settings (around 200˚C is recommended) to ensure that you only need to go over each section of hair once.
