Just days after Bonang shocked fans with her resignation from Metro FM, it has emerged that the station apparently tried to meet with her a week before to discuss changes to her show

This comes in the wake of Bonang claiming that she was only told about the changes to her show an hour before she went on air.

It was this that led to her resigning with immediate effect, Bonang said on Monday.

Now TshisaLIVE is reporting that it is in possession of a string of WhatsApp messages and email communication between Bonang and Metro FM management, which details numerous attempts to meet with her.

The paper trail of communication, which has been published, shows how Metro FM station manager Sibongile Mtyali and Metro FM program manager Tony Sogolo, sent Bonang numerous meeting requests and messages dating back to the 29 March.

Apparently Bonang denied receiving the meeting requests, failed to show up for scheduled meetings and in one case, said she knew nothing about a scheduled meeting.

The publication also reports that all Metro FM staff and talent were apparently given new contract letters that stated there would be changes to the line-ups

This comes after Bonang said in the wake of her resignation on Monday that she was heartbroken, and was only told about the changes on the morning of her show.
