Engage in a workout before you indulge

If you know that you are going to be in a situation where you will be exposed to large quantities of food and you won’t be able to resist any temptations that may be prevalent at the time, then you should consider taking action now!

Get physical

Counteract the possible effects of over indulging in high calorie or large portions of food by getting in some physical activity beforehand. For example, if you are going to attend an evening party over the weekend, consider getting an early start to your day so that you will have sufficient time to engage in an intense workout before going out.

Alternatively, go to the gym and get those calories burning ahead of time. This can help you to feel less guilty when partaking of snacks and meals. In addition, it may keep you focused on eating healthy foods, even when eating out!
