Keeping cool at the office this summer shouldnâ??t mean pumping up the air-con.  As we wind down to the end of the year, here are some tips to keep yourself looking and feeling cool at work:
Florals and chiffon are in, so a button up floral shirt tucked into some great tailored pants or skirt is a great way to look fashionable and cool this summer.

Resist the temptation to wear miniskirts: An appropriate skirt hem falls just below the knee (incidentally, this is also the length that flatters most legs).

Shed your winter skin: exfoliate once a week, and apply a non-greasy moisturiser to keep you looking healthy.

Stay away from heavy, thick fabrics.  Opt for breathable fabrics like cotton and linen, which are both cool and comfortable.

Use pretty hair pieces to keep your hair up and your neck cool.

Donâ??t over-accessorize – keep it simple.

Choose a flattering skirt

Skirts are a lovely way to keep cool this summer: depending on the level of formality in your office, there are many styles from which to choose: pencil, bubble, A-line or full-length gypsy – the list goes on and on.  Choose the one that flatters your silhouette the most.

Tone down your makeup: ditch the smoky eye and opt for pretty pastels and a light foundation.

A wrap dress is a womanâ??s best friend: it flatters most body shapes, gives you shape in the waist, can go from day to night with a quick change of heels, and is cool and easy to wear.  Get one in every colour!

Reacquaint yourself with your nail technician: you will be bearing your feet a lot over the next couple of months, so ensure that your fingernails and toenails are neat and fresh.
