A study of 500 South African dads with daughters under the age of 18 has revealed the top 20 things fathers with ?little girls will have mastered. These include how to braid hair, knowing how to stop a nightmare and how to make everything better.?

According to the results of this online survey, over 87% of South African dads believe that joining in playtime helps build their daughters self-confidence

?There has been some talk about dads who are absent from their children’s lives for a variety of reason. The conversation is rarely about the dads who are involved. ?This is the underlying message of the new Barbie campaign – #DadsWhoPlayBarbies.? They are hoping that it will inspire those dads who could be more involved to step up too.

The campaign creative includes a 90-second must-watch online film and three 30-second cut downs. It showcases what happens when six real dads play Barbie with their daughters in a beautiful, sincere way.
