Returning to SA after his visit to the country in 2010, the Canadian rock star will play in four cities as part of his Bare Bones World Tour. As suggested by the name, these shows will be unplugged and more intimate than the usual big stadium concerts

According to Channel24, Adams whose "new spin on his classic hits as part of his unplugged tour has been met with rave reviews from critics and fans alike," will be playing in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, and Port Elizabeth.

Kicking off his stripped down tour in Johannesburg, the singer will perform at Carnival City's Big Top Arena on 25 and 26 January 2014, before heading to Cape Town for only one show, on 28 January, at the Grand Arena.

He will then travel to PE for a show at Feather Market on 29 January, and end off in Durban with a final performance at the ICC on 31 January.

Tickets will go on sale for between R300 and R700 at 9 am on Friday, 4 October. They will be available from either Big Concerts or Computicket.
