Leona Lewis is allegedly happier now that she is a "bit bigger".
The 27-year-old singer has reportedly gained almost a stone (over 5 kilograms) in weight recently, following failed diet attempts. Rather than fret over her fuller figure, The X Factor UK winner is said to be embracing her new-found curves.
"[Leona is a] happy size 14," a friend revealed to British magazine Closer. "Leona says she'd rather enjoy her life and be a bit bigger than be skinny and miserable. She has no intention of dieting."
The 5ft 8 (1,73 metres) vegan star has fluctuated between a UK size 10 and 14 since she first found fame in 2006. Leona has also juggled living in two locations over the past years, alternating between London and Los Angeles. While she works out regularly in America, insiders explained her UK exercise routine is not as strict.
Leona apparently prefers to cosy up in the British chill, eating, rather than getting out and about as she does in LA.
"Leona's the first to admit her weight goes up and down by a stone [over 5 kgs]," the friend continued. "She loves to comfort-eat in the winter and can't resist vegan pizza."
